The jury
Three teachers from participating schools assess entries from other schools, never their own. Deliberations are sovereign and jury composition is published at registration close.
- The jury seat rotates: institutions take their turn from one edition to the next.
- Automatic compliance check β duration, choice points, endings, declaration of roles β precedes deliberation.
- An external professional may chair the jury, without casting vote.
- The composition is published at the close of registration, 15 October 2026.
- Deliberations are sovereign. The jury may not award a prize if no work meets the conditions.
No public vote takes place: with a small number of candidacies, it would reward the ability to mobilize oneβs network rather than the quality of the work.
Selection criteria
Rules
- Reserved for students of a sound education institution, audiovisual, narrative, or live performance
- Ten institutions per section for this first edition, in order of registration
- Each institution presents a single candidacy, selected following an internal selection
- The internal selection is conducted by at least two teachers and brings together at least five works
- Unselected works are published with royalties β they do not compete in the final
- A minor candidate must provide consent from their legal guardian
- The student registers alone but may form a team, declared in the grid of eight roles
- The prize is distributed among contributors according to the declared key
- Duration between 8 and 30 minutes
- At least three choice points and two distinct endings
- At least one declared human role β AI roles grant no rights to the award
- One single candidacy per student Β· free participation
- All submitted stories are published on Oravox with royalties
The prize follows the declared distribution key: the winner does not receive the full amount. Each contributor receives the share they accepted before submission, exactly as with royalties from a collaborative work.
